Like you, I got hooked when I bought a Tandy 1000 at Radio Shack. Spent 3 days typing meaningless commands, until a neighbor taught me so basic commands. Now at 84 still learning as it never quits evolving into new things. Love it.

Stay away from the Daily Giveaway. Even if you unsubscribe it keeps coming. And Daves Computer Tips says they have no control over it, well then they have control of it being on their site and have some control right? Yes I am angry. Not at Daves tips, but the fact that their response was like oh well sorry but we have no control. Yes you can intervene and your site is posted along site theirs as partners is it not?
Hi Brian,
As far as I know, we are not affiliated with them in any sense of the word.
Yes, the link is available on our site, but that is as far as it goes.
I will personally look into this for you. Please be patient. I won’t be able to address this before Monday the 16th,
Richard
Why then is the link available on your site if you approve of it? Makes no sense and you seem to avoid that.
Shareware seems to be at fault.
I have another email experiment to prove it. And same thing. Keeps saying my downloads are ready and I already did that.
Links to websites have to be accepted by Daves or not, am I correct or can any link post on your site. Let’s be honest here.
“Why then is the link available on your site if you approve of it?”
What???
The Daily Giveaway link has been available on DCT for as long as I can remember. And yes, the link was set up by Dave himself.
I will have to talk to Dave about this and I won’t be able to do that, as I previously told you, until Monday.
So, can we please put this to bed until then?
Thank you.
