If I have viruses, I want to know what virus protector is the best one to buy. Thank you! My name is Diane Douglas. My email is xxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.com. There are so many I don’t know which ones are really the best.

      Hi Diane,

If you have viruses then your choice of AV has already failed you. You have two options:

      1. If you want to be absolutely sure your computer is free of Malware, then you should reinstall Windows from scratch
      2. You can run several scanners in order to try to isolate the problem and, hopefully, quarantine the malware in the process

I cannot recommend a single AV program for you. You should run scans with several of them.

Noto bene: It is not wise to post your email address on the internet for all to see.

      Good luck!
      Richard
