Epic continues with its free game offers, most of which are available for at least a week, so it’s advisable to keep checking back at Epic Games. They appear to be one of the few game distributors with an ongoing free game campaign and I for one, check into their site regularly.
Until November 5th, Epic is running a Halloween sale with 75% off some titles, so check it out.
Play for free for a limited time is also very popular with publishers, but not so much with gamers because it’s seen more like a cheap trick to lure you into a purchase. For example, Fallout 76 is free to play until October 26th, so grab it at Bethesda and then decide if you want to buy it.
Bethesda is also running a sale on Wolfenstein games until the end of the month, with discounts of up to 75%.
Also worth checking out is the GOG sale with many games discounted up to 80%, including many of the Metro series games.
Other deals worth considering are:
- Green Man Gaming – up to 80% on some titles.
- Fanatical – Assetto Corsa and other games at 78% off.
- Microsoft GamePass is also worth serious consideration. I signed up a couple of months ago to take advantage of Microsoft Flight Simulator and at a cost of only $2.57 per month (varies by region), I get to choose from over 100 games which in November and December will be increased dramatically with the inclusion of EA Games and Bethesda at no extra cost.
With Christmas just around the corner, there are sure to be more deals available, so check out future articles on free games and deals.
