You once advised me on removing these leftover updates the $NTUninstallKBxxxxxx$ files. I go to My Computer click on C and then Windows but I cannot find them there now. Where do I look. You said they would be safe to delete after 1 month but for the life of me I can't find them.

I have used DiskMax on XP and Vista Machines since a few months without any issue. I like the fact there not so many settings, just a few questions when run the first time. I usually don't need the hotfix uninstallers, since I perform a differential image backup of my system partition every week or so. So I restore the last system in case of trouble.
I have used Quick mode on my Office PC, Standard on my personal PC.
About last known good config, I am not sure what it cleans actually, but I must say I almost never encountered the cas on my machines when this was needed. I would believe its the "old last good config" that's cleaned, but I think it's a question for the developer (http://www.koshyjohn.com). He usually answers quite quickly.
