hi all, i have recently upgraded to windows 7, when using vista i used ashampoo 6 which i thought was really quite good, however since installing 7, i installed it again and now my dvd's are taking something like 2 hours lol, yes 2 hours.. any advice would be great , i think i have a 8 speed dvd burner and using 16 x dvd's to which ive never had a problem using before.
Hey Dodester - Don't think the problem is with your hardware nor blank media mate.....more than likely, as you suspect, a software issue.
You can get Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010 for free at the moment. It doesn't say it supports Windows7...only XP and Vista but might be worth trying it out, especially as it is zero cost. I've found that a lot of software for Vista also works well on Windows 7.
Go to this site to register (it is a two part registration process): http://www2.ashampoo.com/webcache/html/ ... _2_USD.htm
Go to this site to download (site is in German - just click on the blue "Download" button): http://www.computerbild.de/download/Ash ... 30765.html
Also: Here is a page which discusses and lists the best free burning software. You will see that most support Windows 7: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-fr ... ftware.htm
Let us know how you get on...

I wouldn't be too embarrassed, I've never heard of that format (ntsdt)....man, that must be a really obscure one!!!
