That's a screenshot of 'Computer' mate, I need a screenshot of the Disk Management window.

Right click Computer and select Manage. In the new window, from the left hand panel, select Disk Management, upload a screenshot of the bottom half - should look like this:

Hi Jim
From carbonterry"s screenshot I can understand the C drive and the F drive.E drive must be a data drive. Not sure what the T drive is used for.

This is a screenshot of my W10 disk mamagement, if it will help. As you can see I do not let windows install a reserved partition, all boot data is stored within each respective OS's, in which I use Easy BCD, which is installed in W10, to write to the BOOTMGR and to set which OS is first to boot.

If everything is installed correctly, then carbonterry would have two w7 entries.

If carbonterry is wanting to save his W732 bit then he could use something like Aomei Partition Master to clone to the F drive, but that drive would have to be unformatted. After the clone he could unplug the SSD and boot into the HDD. If the HDD is booting he could then shutdown and plug in the SSD and use Aomei to delete and reformat the partitions on the SSD. If Aomei or Disk Management will not delete the partitions on his SSD then he will have to use Diskpart or a bootable Gparted DVD.
If carbonterry does not want W7 to create a reserved partition, then just create the partition before installing W7 64bit.

This is my Aomei Partition Master, which I highly recommend and use. It is also FREE.

Hope this helps. Daniel.

E & F drives are internal HDD's, T drive is an external HDD
C is an internal SDD

Is the E drive used as a data drive?

OK, and do you still want to put you W7 32bit that is installed on your SSD on your F drive?

Terry, the first thing you need to do is disconnect the external drive (T) - Windows will not install if any external drives are connected - then try again.

Everything else looks okay, Windows should install once you disconnect that external drive.

If it still won't install, temporarily disconnect the internal data drives as well, then try again.

That did the trick Jim !! Thank you !!!!!
Other problems...doesn't detect other monitor and not the correct resolution without the option to choose correct setting.

Have you tried pressing the Windows + P key combo to bring up dual screen options?

If you right click on the desktop and select Screen Resolution, how many displays are shown? If only one is shown, try clicking Detect.

What is the make and model of your graphics card? Are you downloading the driver direct from the manufacturer?

Is your Windows 7 installation completely up-to-date? You'll need SP1 plus the Convenience Rollup for SP1 (otherwise known as SP2).

Both monitors work on the 32bit version. NVidida (EVGA) card. I have the installation disk.
No, I have SP1 only
