Got the new version of W10 installed on one of my PC,s this morning. Installed this on my wife's PC this morning, thought I would use it as a guinea pig.

Is that the latest insider build Daniel?

Hi Marc
This was in with all the updates that were released this past Tuesday. Took about 3 hours to install this one update. I'm not sure what the latest insider build is but I thought it came out earlier.

I saw this update ready for my PC in settings but on restart it rolled it back with an error and now it's not showing as an available update.
Nice one Microsoft!

What a coincidence, I just finished installing the update on my PC. I had to use the retry tab in WU, for that update, to get the updated started. I started last night and finished this morning. You might want to do another check for updates. Daniel.

I went to get some bananas at the corner shop, where I also bought some Coriander for the chicken curry I'm making tonight, which I'm hoping will be extra hot like the lovely weather outside....
Oops, where was I?
Just got this message (pic attached), but somehow I don't have much faith and will let it run whilst I'm at work for a few hours.
PS: I'll also keep you posted on the curry situation.

Oh you of little faith!!! That first update did run for awhile. I also let the other updates install first before I ran the W10 upgrade.
I do believe the chicken curry would have priority over any W10 upgrade.
Will post a opinion on the upgrade later. Have a good weekend!! Daniel.

It worked on the third attempt and upgraded in about 15 mins.
I don't know what's changed yet to be honest

Other than a color change and a version and build # change, I can't see a whole lot. I guess it is for programs that I never use in W10. HOORAY for Microsoft!!!

Upgraded fine here first time. No issues... at least so far.

This is the major update which includes all the changes made through the various insider builds.

Still no sign of Cortana here. Not that I have any interest in using the digital assistant myself but how the heck can MS expect optimum market penetration when one of Win10's major new features is only available in a hand full of countries!

Apparently I was wrong about Cortana, this new update brings Cortana to Japan, Canada, India, and AUSTRALIA.

It isn't obvious though, you have to know how to switch it on.

I don't understand why Cortana is country specific to such a rigid degree. For example, I understand the nuances of regional differences and being British, I would probably prefer to use the UK version.
Having said that, I've put my location as UK in the Windows settings and Cortana understands me very well when I speak, even though I'm physically in Argentina.

I don't think it has so much to do with the input Marc, more the output. If you set your location to the UK and then ask Cortana where the nearest pizza shop shop is...
