Hi Claw,
The above tweaks work to a point, but I don't think the rewards justify the risks. You definitely won't notice a magical improvement in system performance.
Windows handles some things pretty good and should be left alone in those areas.
Changing processor affinity willy-nilly can really muck things up.
Just my opinion,
Richard
I am still using Process Lasso (for over one year now) and have not experienced any bad results. Like with most tweakers, each computer and parts are different, so one might need to tweak the program. I do find that my computers hangs less often, but is that due to modifications in the o/s or Process Lasso? What I do like about Process Lasso is being able to review the log file and see what processors were active, and for how long, as well as seeing what's loaded into memory etc, Mindblower!

Hello Claw. I do not remember if I started using Process Lasso while I was still using Windows 10, but even with Windows 10 installed, I had the Classic Start Menu program installed to emulate XP. Reverted back to 8.1 and Process Lasso works fine. The additional tweaks I do on the program is what I add/subtract from the ProBalanced default settings. Do not want to limit the load certain program impose on the o/s, but am finding out I also need to run those program only, and nothing else. According to the company their version 9.x works fine with 10, and they offer support for licensed users. Hope you are able to solve your problem, Mindblower!
