Hello everybody,

I´ve learned about rkt on this page: https://coreos.com/rkt/ .
I am very excited about rkt and would like to make use of it.
However I´m using a 32bit-machine (Linux/Xubuntu 16.04.2 LTS). Does anybody know whether it is possible to use rkt in a 32bit-environment?

Background: I´m looking for a container-based virtualization method to start programmes with a GUI (especially teamviewer).

Thanks a lot in advance.

Greetings.
Rosika

P.S.: rtk is supposed to work similar to docker (virtualization using containers)

*****EDIT*****

In fact I´ve obtained an answer to this question on http://askubuntu.com/questions/903545/does-rkt-work-on-32-bit-systems .

If anyone is interested, here´s the reply:

"No. rkt does not even have an Ubuntu installation. There are debian installer files for Debian (rkt is in "sid" repo) so it might work on a 64-bit system. But 32? No.

1 thing that might make this possible: if the processor has a 64-bit architecture and supports hardware virtualization technologies such as "Intel VT-x" or "AMD-V" you can install a 64-bit virtual machine and install Ubuntu 64-bit in there, and then install rkt."
