How about running a VMware W10 Virtual Machine. This one is running very well on Linux Mint 19.2. No it will not run high end video games but I have it running several MS games that I run on my real W10 setup. This does give me Windows to run without having to reboot the machine. This also lets me connect and use my new hp printer and scanner and use the shared folder link to the host to share the files to wherever I want.
Updated my Linux to Mint 19.2 Tina. Upgrade went well and all is running well. When running Linux it is very important to have a separate /home partition, this allows one to not format the /home and just format the / and grub partitions. Did not lose any of my files. MS take heed.
Mint 19.2 has installed my printer and scanner and I can now print and scan with my HP Deskjet 2652, the photo is the test page I printed, and then scanned to see if the scanner would work. Linux Mint is getting better, just need to port a few games over to Linux and improve on the graphics and we might have a Windows contender.
Open terminal and type "systemd-analyze" to find your boot time type "systemd-analyze blame" for more boot time details
Want a MS Paint alternative for Linux Mint, besides Gimp? Well then open the terminal and type " sudo apt install pinta " enter password and hit enter to install. Works pretty good for what I use it for.
