If anyone is thinking of sending gifts to friends or relatives in Argentina, it's a good idea to ask the person how they would like to receive them.
Not a good idea to just walk to a post office, post the item and expect it to arrive in a few days, because it probably won't.
Many people have stuff sent to neighbouring Uruguay if they know people there or ask a friend to bring in their luggage if they happen to be travelling to BA.
I know this from personal experience.

You mentioned that 2 items per year?
I sent the Arturia Beatstep but it was sent back due to difficulties.(He didn't have something updated to receive the item) So, will this count as a second send when I do?
As for the FX processor, I still need to know if it's a worthy upgrade from his current Phenom II X4 840 processor. As a DJ, he renders audio, video, and images, plus gaming.
Yes, 2 items per year to a total value of $25 per shot, if you can believe that.
Anything over that and your friend has to register himself as an importer and pay 50% tax on the declared value. It was probably sent back because he was wearing the wrong coloured socks or more likely that he didn't complete the paperwork correctly.
I would imagine this would count as his first since the original never made it.
The 8350 is an 8 core CPU, the 840 is 4 core. I have the 8320 which I've overclocked to 4 Ghz which turns it into an 8350 effectively.
Check that his mobo is compatible too.
Oh and when you put a value on the package, you may need to be imaginative.
Best of luck
Greetings. Times has passed and things have changed, but I am not entirely up to date. I have an RX 560 that I intend to send a friend, but my friend was asking if I can ship his friend items as well. I did check for a Western Union, maybe I can send them money if they still are bound to the 50% Importer fee, but really just trying to help out due to the conversion looking very terrible for prices they have to pay for items.
As for my friend I want to send him my RX 560 and also an S.S.D. for his O.S..

Hola Mega
Having things sent here physically is no easier unfortunately, but it can be done, depending who delivers. FedeX, DHL? It's expensive though. How about US Mail?
Your friend may find it easier and quicker to receive money through Western Union. I would suggest PayPal, but hardly anyone uses that here and getting cash out of PayPal is a pain.
If you do ship anything, make sure the declared value is silly money, like $20 for example.
Things have tightened up since the $70 billion IMF loan and the usual disastrous economy handled by muppets.
