Hi everyone. Hope I'm posting in the right category. I would like to ask if anyone can guide me to the right tutorial for a friend of mine.
He is a very educated professional gentleman with a whole bunch of letters after his name. BUT, he cannot understand anything about computers except where the power on button is.
He has a Gmail account and is running Windows 10. (new PC )
He asked me how to watch a video when someone sends one to him in an email.
No matter how much I try to explain it to him over the phone, he does not understand. Does anyone know where I can find an easy tutorial for opening a video attachment?
Thank you.

Hi Myles,
The answer to this is pretty straightforward:
* If the video was sent as an attachment, then it needs to be downloaded and played with a local video player
* If it is actually a link to the video, then all that should be needed is to click on the link. This will take you to the site where the video is located.
Note that some sites require Adobe Flash Player to be installed as a browser plug-in in order to watch their videos. This situation is becoming scarcer, but some out-dated sites still require this.
Hope this helps,
Richard
