Jim, I take it you verified you have 33 Gig of new space, right? It didn't just report that to sound impressive?
Maybe it dropped your KB Uninstall files from Windows. I've seen those get as high as 10 Gig on a machine that started with no service pack. Maybe Vista has bigger uninstall files....

I thought I did but couldn't swear to it. Maybe I dreamt the whole thing. Hang on, I remember taking a screenshot of the scan results...just in case. I'll have another look.
Ooops, so sorry...I missed the full stop. It cleaned out 3349.2MB...just over 3gigs. Man, I am such a dunce...you all guessed there was something wrong somewhere but were just too polite to suggest it might be my malfunctioning grey matter.
Ain't it marvelous what difference a misplaced decimal point can make.
Apologies to all...I'm off now to find a hole to crawl into.
