I am getting on, too, so you probably got that one right, Jim!

I believe I have found the definitive answer to my question at
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#.....ommandline
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: What are the WMP command line options?
A: The full set of v9 options are here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-u.....2178(VS.85).aspx. For older versions, see here http://support.microsoft.com/d.....bid=241422. Or I've summarized them here, with some other stuff that isn't covered in that article:

Definitely good to know. Thanks for updating the post Bluejay!

BTW, I did not edit your post - promise!
As far as disabling the taskmanager there is a setting in the options for that program that does not uninstall the program, but returns Windows Task Manager to the default. A simple click to disable and click to enable thing.

The same goes for anti-virus. You can disable it without uninstalling using a similar check box.

I didn't edit / delete your post either. But I do get on here late at night and pretend to read things, so it's possible it was one of my children.

No, there is no correlation to that statement and it couldn't have been them as neither of them knows my password. Well, neither do I but that's a different story.

I'm going to stop talking now.
