automatic backup on program closure; any easiest way ?

I use a program which stores all it's data in a single file, and I'm very happy with it, but I'm not too happy with ME.
You see - I always forget to make a backup when I close it.
Most likely there's several ways to do this using a script or batch file so as to 'wrap' it's execution and follow it's closure.
Today I saw mention of an old freeware called 'TAME' that did exactly what I described - but it's dead & gone.
Any suggestions for a small/simple/free program that will track a program & make a backup of my file when the program is closed ?

Thanks !

I guess I'm late to the party on this one!

Have a look at Microsoft's SyncToy and Crashplan. Both are available in 32/64 bit and are very versatile programs to backup, copy, and sync files.

Crashplan can be set to backup locally to another hard drive(free), network location(free), friend's computer over the internet, or Crashplan's servers(small fee). You select the folders/files you want to backup, the number of versions you wish to retain, and window of time for the backup to occur and Crashplan takes care of all the work.

Synctoy is similar except it doesn't allow offsite (anything over the internet) and doesn't have the scheduling ability, but it can be triggered with the Task Scheduler.
