Hiiiiiiiiiiii James
Thanks for the great free photo programs.
I would like pleeeeease simple steps that would help me get this. I Have 2 pcs and one of them hasnt got a working dvd. Also I found some more old fashion vc tapes can you advise how to make dvd discs. If possible
Thanks Ema
Hey Ema - If the PC hasn't got a working DVD drive, there is really no work around. You need to have a working DVD drive connected, either internal or external (via USB).
In order to transfer VCR tapes to DVD you will need a capture device, like this one [url=http://www.pcsol.com.au/Prods/Leadtek-LT-VC100U.asp:1tmljd2g]HERE[/url:1tmljd2g]. The necessary software is included with the device.

Ema - When you get the device you will also get a CD from which you install the associated driver and software. The device has a USB connection on one end and provision for three RCA connections on the opposite end (yellow, white and red). Once set sup all you need do is connect the device to a USB slot on the tower and then connect the VCR to the other end via standard RCA lead, with the same yellow, white and red connectors. Run the capture software and simply follow the on screen directions - press F1 anytime for help.
