Which is the best free Internet privacy software now? I currently use Cyberghost VPN.

A VPN is always a good option. Trouble is those that offer a full service, zero limitations, also cost $$$$.

Cocoon is a very good option, very secure and free:

Hi Jim,

I use Cocoon now, and so far I'm satisfied.

Glad to hear it. Cocoon is an excellent option, the thing which surprised me most is there is zero lag when connecting through Cocoon's servers. In fact, I swear it often seems faster.

Personally, I choose paid service only. Tried free VPNs, but have bugs with them, constantly. Read the reviews on this site https://topvpnchoice.com/purevpn-reviews/ and found that I need to use paid VPN services. The site has rates, and I chose the best VPN. I was interested in Pure VPN. This is easy to use, secure and functional VPN service with a large base of servers. PureVPN provides high-speed, and by leveraging the AES 256 algorithm has a reliable protection.

Using VPN is the most legitimate solution to protect your data from your ISP. A VPN works by encrypting your internet data and tunneling it through its own secure server. After connecting to a VPN, your ISP will only know that you connected to a VPN. What you did after that will be pretty much invisible. Private Internet Access is a best VPN for privacy and anonymity. They are reputable and the service is excellent, with a wide variety of servers to choose from around the globe.

If you’re serious about privacy I strongly recommend don't use free VPN.

I tried several VPN services but I used BulletVPN when I was in UAE to unblock Skype from my hotel and access blocked sites and now I moved to China and it still works for me
