THIS GIVEAWAY HAS NOW EXPIRED[/message]

It’s that time of year again, scary how quickly each Christmas rolls round these days. Remember when we were kids and from one Christmas to the next seemed like an eternity. Anyway, we have a real treat for you this Christmas; the chance to win one of three brand new Sandisk Extreme 64GB USB 3.0 flash drives.

*NOTE: There will be three winners drawn – one flash drive per winner.

The 64GB SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive packs exceptional transfer speeds and generous capacity into a pocket-sized package. Transfer large photos, videos and other files up to 45 times faster than standard USB 2.0 drives. Super-fast write speeds up to 190MB/sec let you transfer your files to the drive in a fraction of the time it takes with standard USB 2.0 drives

Folks, these flash drives are named “Extreme” for a very good reason – they are super quick. With maximum read speeds up to 245 MB/s and write speeds up to 190 MB/s they are by far the quickest flash drives I’ve encountered. The Sandisk Extreme is a little more expensive than your run-of-the-mill flash drives so it took me a while before I finally coughed up the additional moolah and purchased one, but now, after witnessing the Extreme in action, I would not buy any other.

NOTE: The Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 flash drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. I’ve used this flash drive on a USB 2.0 system and the speed is still remarkable.

need to win this Sandisk USB because lost mine and the other flash drive I have is giving me errors and is small , just 1GB.

  2. Jerry Lafferty

64GB is bigger than some of the older HDD’s I have laying around here. None of my jumpdrives are larger than 16GB. Only one is 3.0 compatible. Great giveaway, Merry Christmas to all !!

  3. One of these days I’m gonna find a flash drive that records live video on my DVR without dropped frames. I hope this turns out to be the one!

  4. Evelyn Filippi

I would love to have it. I am a movie addict and love repetition and watch the same movies over and over again and this would be fantastic to have. I have aspergers so my memory works different. If someone says something I can remember forever it but movies and books are always new.and half the time I dont know what I am saying until I hear it. lol. Anyway I am also addicted to your site and all the good info I get.

  5. I live in a community of retired people and repair upgrade their pcs for free. A fast flash drive with this capacity would greatly help my work.

  6. This would be a great addition to my toolbox, Repairing Pc’s for friends, this would be helpful in the recovery of Lost documents.

  7. With so much data these days, a super-quick flash drive would help me in many ways. I have other 64 gig flash drives, but the speed of this one would make all the difference. Thanks for the chance!

  8. Wow. I have so much video to carry around a 64GB flash would be wonderful

We are both growing in older years, with lots of memories, photos, etc, which we would like to easily and speedily put on a disc for our family to have an anchor in the future.
Thanks Dave and team for all your year round work for your readers! May you all have an abundant and happy Christmas, going into a great 2016 year.
    From 2 NZ readers.

  10. This would be nice, as I currently travel with several drives that are quite a bit smaller thanks to budget constraints.
In this day and age, it would be nice to believe in ‘Santa’ again.
    Thanks for the chance(s)!

  11. Thanks to DCT and Sandisk for this great opportunity. One of these drives will be very useful in caring my files around.

  12. Wow 64GB! That would hold half of my photo album!
Currently when I want to show friends my recent art, award winning photos or videos of the horses at play or chookies in the garden, I have to cart the whole shootin’ match laptop around. I just about need a trolley!
So much easier to slip the 64GB san disk in my handbag & plug it into their puter or tablet 😉

  13. Dick Snakenberg

Thanks for the chance to win a nice flash drive. They always come in handy.

  14. I would so love to win this! So many back ups, so little time and space. It would be such a compact, high-quality method to store valuable photos, music, data. Keeping my fingers crossed 🙂

  15. I appreciate the opportunity to enter.

I would use the drive to copy my personal info and make it available to me no matter the computer I might be using.

    Thank you again
    Bob

  16. I’m almost 89 years old and have collected scads of photos during the many years I’ve had a P.C. so would like to be able to copy lots to a flash drive to share with grandkids and great-grandchildren.
