This is the latest Doom game released in May 2016 and recently reviewed by DCT’s own gaming expert Marc Thomas:
id Software pretty much invented the First Person Shooter (FPS) back in 1993 when the original Doom was launched and, as the years have passed, its DNA can still be seen in practically every shooter in the gaming universe. Followed in 1994 by Doom II and Doom 3 in 2004, the release of the new game earlier this month is the culmination of years of false starts, rumors, speculation, and hope. In fact, the Doom 4 project, as it was once known, was scrapped in 2013 and in the intervening years, short teaser trailers were released to calm our worried souls until eventually at E3 last year, 15 minutes of game footage was shown to an awe-struck audience and DOOM was back. Big time!

When I first heard about this version of Doom I was concerned this game was going to be awful. Pleasantly surprised that it actually appears to be an amazingly good game and I’d love the chance to play it!

This game is phenomenal.
I loved the previous Doom games, played all. loved them all very much and this 4th installment will be a really deserved game for all fans of Doom out in the world.
I really liked how everything looks, how everything is supremely detailed, the phenomenal gameplay, the difficulty and the beautiful Easter Egg that was shown on the video.
Everything seems to be on track and it’s a really welcome return.

It is really superb, superb gameplay, amazing graphics, great weapons and pure gore is what we see on this game and I absolutely love it.
I’m really hyped and eager to play this game.
It will be a real masterpiece of this year 😉

Such a detailed game, it looks fantastic.
Lots of action, hardcore enemies, amazing and destructive weapons and all we are doing is total annihilation and kill everything.
I just love how this Doom 4 is now that it’s released. It’s really darnn amazing and a 2016 pearl for sure 😀
