CuteClips 3 – A Great Clipboard Utility

Included in the Mac bundle that I recently purchased was Briksoftware’s CuteClips 3. At first, I wondered what is was and why I would need something like this. But, lately, I’ve changed my mind. It’s a pretty nice application.

CuteClips 3 allows you to access text that you have cut or copied prior to and including your most recent Cut or Copy command. By default, it saves your last twelve clips. You can increase this simply by increasing the length of the CuteClips window. You can invoke CuteClips using the menu bar or hotkey.

CuteClips runs in the background, recording your clips in the clipboard. The clips are maintained even after a reboot. If you find that you use a particular clip often, you can assign a shortcut number to it to make it easier to retrieve.

CuteClips 3 lets you paste part of a clip, a single clip or multiple clips. It is quite versatile.

The best thing that I ilke about CuteClips 3 is its user interface. It is very clean and easy to use. I also like that fact that it stays out of the way until you need it so it does not needlessly clutter your screen.

CuteClips 3 will run on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or 10.7 (Lion). For more information, including a link for a free trial version, go to
